CV, career history, the intention to change jobs: for a senior candidate this is sensitive material. These are the controls, and you can verify them.
With the Private option your API key is encrypted in your browser before it reaches us. The server keeps an unreadable block and never uses it.
You set the spending cap at your own provider, with a dedicated key.
With your key, the posting, CV and letter go from your browser straight to the provider you chose.
Passwords with argon2id, 6-digit code, session tokens stored only as hashes.
Applications and files are encrypted before they leave your device. The key never reaches the server: we only see unreadable data.
Export everything as CSV or JSON. Delete the account and the data is removed.
We state the limit ourselves: encryption protects what sits on the server, not the code the service hands you. Our server serves the JavaScript, so a malicious operator could change it and read the key while you use it. Status, dates and file sizes remain visible. That is why we recommend a dedicated key with a spending cap, revocable at any time.

What does AI cost with my own key?
Nothing extra from us: the Private option is part of Plus and you pay your provider the actual usage, with no markup. You set the spending cap at the provider.
Where is my data?
Account and applications on our server in Switzerland, encrypted in your browser: we cannot read them. The text sent to the AI goes to the provider: yours with the Private option, the platform’s otherwise. The table above shows who sees what.
Do you send applications on my behalf?
No, never. AI prepares drafts and fills in fields. Sending and signing the RAV proof remain yours.
Can one user’s information end up in another’s?
The separation is in the code: every AI request is built only from the data of the user making it, with no shared conversations or memory. With the Private option the AI then runs on your own account, which nobody else uses.
Are you connected to the RAV or Job-Room?
No. Jobdossiers is an independent service, not affiliated with SECO, the RAV or Job-Room. Delivering the proof on time remains your responsibility.
What happens if your server is compromised?
The JavaScript that encrypts your data is served by our server: if it were compromised, it could read the API key while you use it. That is why you use a key dedicated to Jobdossiers, with a spending cap at the provider, which you can revoke at any time.
Can I export and delete everything?
Yes. Full export as CSV or JSON, and account deletion: data and files are removed.
